It’s time again. Welcome back. We’re fresh off a few extended weekends of rest and relaxation and we’ve been busy researching your next favorite life hack, creatine + protein cereal (read below or you’ll miss out big).
Relay plans for the weekend:
Saturday morning not-that-well-prepared marathon attempt (worrying).
Golf (going low).
Pool mode.
Playing the entirety of Come Around Sundown (high tier album title) on repeat to drift into the final weeks of August.
Potential movie marathon (Zoey Deutch wya).

Creatine in cereal is hilarious but our timeline is full of commentary on that. This project is just an excuse for us to spotlight the work Day Job is doing. They’ve been on a serious roll. I (Ian) loved seeing another win for Rion Harmon after the famous frozen cod campaign. Not everyone thinks about brand equity – but we all encounter it daily. Day Job clearly knows how to develop brand equity, just look at their work with TBPN and David. Here’s to manifesting Relay working with Day Job in a few years.
While we’re here - highly recommend cruising around their website on desktop (you can play Doom).

I don’t make the rules.
No, on a more serious note. It may be time to leave this part of our youth behind.

The internet is an overwhelming mess of headlines, ads, and mid takes from the worst people you know. Big Tech owns our attention spans. Everything is content. Nothing makes sense.
We’re not here to “fix discourse” or “build a better internet.” Relay is just our attempt to riff on what we’re already talking about at happy hour without feeling like we’ve been hit by a content truck. Some analysis, some memes, call it a day.
You might like it. Tag along.
